Build an artist event timeline that makes captions timely
Use dated, approved events to keep artist captions current without letting invented milestones slip into public copy.

The short answer
A useful artist timeline records dated, approved events that public copy may refer to: releases, performances, collaborations, milestones, and selected personal notes. Studio can combine that timeline with song and identity context when generating captions. The result is more current copy only when the source events are accurate and intentionally public.
Start with facts, then interpretation
Each event needs a date, a clear title, and one sentence of context. “First Berlin headline show, 18 October” is a better source than “big things are happening.” If the event is a fictional part of an openly fictional artist project, record it consistently and avoid presenting it as a real venue engagement unless it is one. A producer should be able to audit a draft against the timeline in seconds.
Studio’s current event types include release, performance, collaboration, milestone, award, personal, controversy, and other. Events marked private are kept out of automatic current-context selection. A controversy is also excluded from automatic selection in the current context logic; that is a deliberate editorial boundary, because a model should not casually turn a sensitive event into promotional copy.
Think in relevance windows
A release matters before and shortly after its date; a performance has a different run-up and aftermath. Studio’s current context logic uses event-type windows and rotates recently used events so consecutive posts do not all repeat the same fact. A date can therefore do more than fill a calendar: it gives the copy a reason to change over time.
Review the timeline each week
Do a weekly review. Delete or correct errors, mark sensitive events private, and add what actually happened. When the timeline is empty, a model can only infer “current” from the song and general artist profile. That is when generic captions return.
Connect the work
Go deeper before the next release decision.
Put the insight to work
Make the next caption aware of the moment.
Add three dated events: one past milestone, one current release moment, and one upcoming event. Review which are public before generating a caption.
Build the artist timelineFrequently asked
Questions, answered.
- Can private events shape generated captions?
- Studio’s current context selection excludes events marked private.
- Will a controversy be inserted automatically?
- No. The current context logic deliberately excludes controversy from automatic event selection.
