Refresh draft captions without rewriting an artist’s history
Refresh recent untouched AI drafts after an artist update while preserving edited, approved, and historical copy.

The short answer
Update copy that is still a draft and has not been touched by a person. Leave approved, edited, published, or historically timed material alone. Studio’s current refresh flow is deliberately narrow: it can rewrite up to ten recent AI-generated draft posts tied to videos after the artist timeline changes.
Why a narrow refresh is useful
Suppose three videos were prepared for a single and a new show date is confirmed. The untouched drafts may now sound stale. A refresh can give those drafts current context without requiring the producer to begin again. But a caption that someone has carefully edited already contains human judgment. Automatically replacing it would erase that work.
The current Studio service checks that the post is still a draft, AI-generated, attached to a video, recent, and not materially edited after generation. It ignores older drafts and limits each refresh batch. The interface offers the action after new events are saved and shows how many drafts qualify. The workflow does not update already published platform posts; Studio does not publish to those platforms.
Review after refreshing
Compare the new caption with the previous one. Does the added event actually fit the visual? Is the date correct? Has the model repeated the same announcement across several posts? A timeline event can be relevant without belonging in every caption. Keep the copy that advances the release story and reject the rest.
Approve the refreshed copy
This is an editorial version of source control: new facts should inform future drafts, while historical work remains an accountable record of what was known and approved at the time.
Connect the work
Go deeper before the next release decision.
Put the insight to work
Bring untouched drafts up to date.
Save a confirmed event, check the count of untouched drafts, refresh a small batch, and approve each result manually.
